Occasionally, folks on this list refer to something called "the Marks." I 
don't know if they're referring to all the composers who happen to share the same 
first name, such as Watters, Parmet, Shaiman, Holden, Mancina, Isham, Snow, 
Mothersbaugh, Northam, or Ayres.

There is no such entity as "the Marks," so please dispense with the 
reference. It ain't very intelligent.
