I agree. I think the Lawyers feel it's their job to
ask for everything possible to cover any future need.
You just have to hope the client understands and is
willing to negotiate. Some just blindly follow their
lawyer's first draft. Partly because they don't want
to have to pay a lawyer to re-write and re-negotiate.

Unfortunately, Composers are cheaper than Lawyers.
