and of course the AFM is an EXTREMELY WEAK UNION  >..........  they  
can't really do much here... it's way too easy to not do union work  
out of the country

they may stop seattle but they'll just go elsewhere

the AFM should have merged with SAG a long time ago when SAG was a  
much stronger union  ( they too have the same problem now but not on  
the same scale )

those performances need to be tracked also and if they just had ONE  
database to look at it would be much simpler and you might be able to  
make arguements that it doesn't cost anymore money to track than they  
are already doing for actors  but that will never happen now ....
