[Fmpro] Jezz, can I ask a question about something other than ASCAP or Union

Hey Les -

I agree with Claude. Rip the DVD and convert it. I even import VHS and
make quicktimes out of them as well. The breakout boxes to export the
quicktime to an external monitor are fairly cheap (around $150 for mine),
and I've NEVER had a problem with it. Just make sure that you convert it to
the proper quicktime format. Check your software to make sure. DP requires a
certain format if you want to view it on a seperate monitor (can't remember
what it is off the top of my head. Something like DV/PRO, but don't quote me
on that. I've got it set up to automatically convert to the proper format so
I don't have to think about it). If you just want to view it as a window on
your desktop the format doesn't really matter as long as it's quicktime.
