[Fmpro] Gear Grief?

Funny how we humans can become attached to inanimate objects like cars and
musical instruments... It was 20+ years ago that we sold my Kawaii upright, to
dig us out of debt. At the time, it was quite special to me as it was the
first piano I'd ever owned outright. I still miss it.

Today I can honestly say that the grief would be far more palpable if I were
to part with my treasured 35-year-old Chickering baby grand, as it's become
an extension of me. It's more responsive to my touch than any other piano
I've ever had the joy of playing, including $100,000 Steinways (though I've yet
to have the pleasure of crossing paths with a Busendorfer!).

So no, you're not alone in your emotion. But I imagine before too long
you'll find something to replace your Korg Triton that you'll love just as much,
if not more.

:-)
