[Fmpro] Update on ASCAP woes

I guess my post on this list generated some action. I got a call today from
Karen Callahan, Manager of Member Services (in NY I guess). Turns out I WAS
indeed paid for that cue on the Rosie O'Donnell show back in 1999 but the
cue wasn't listed as coming from that show. It was listed as a Sesame Street
cue which is why I thought I'd never gotten anything from that performance.
Karen was also able to answer my question about a ballpark figure for
performance royalties on my current underscore work - pretty dismal news
that was.  But at least I got a real answer and not the bs I got yesterday.

My thanks to Mark Northam again. Maybe as composers we're getting screwed
but at least we're getting noticed.
