So Les why is it rap and not any music? I heard someone the other day with
one of those sound systems in their car SCREAMING some opera and trust me it
was JUST as annoying as any rapper, maybe even more so lol. But its the same
as a kid wearing a blue Mohawk, its just to say F.U. Im gonna do it even if
its dumb. Heck when I was a kid I used to ride around blaring at
123209340293 db Miles Davis "Bitches Brew" and John Coltrane "Transition"
tapes and even tho I was totally being a punk I still gotta chuckle a teeny
bit. Tho for me it was more about sheer and utter rapture to hear that music
and I wanted it to fill my body as well as share it with the world that
didn't know about Jazz. Maybe some of the kids doing it are having similar
notions? Tho it does get annoying when you are stuck in bumper to bumper on
the 405 or something and you are already stressed...
