Big Q;

Is the Wipe Out drum solo part of the composition?
In this case is the entire 'tune' a song without words?
Does Wipe Out qualify for Feature Performance? [since it was a hit, but
NOT a song]
Should the drummer be one of the composers?

Wipe Out couldn't be found, by me anyway, on the ASCAP ACE site.......
but a search of the title is advised !!!! :-)
Chicago Cable is big.
I also noticed
  PAMPERS (WIPE OUT FP)........ a pun !
Registered as a Feature Performance maybe, I do not know???

However, surely the question of the drum solo brings up the issue of
why some pieces are features and some are not.
Lyrics has been the usual cry.. yet Woo Hoo is mostly instrumental with
only 2 words.

As we have learned in the UK re performers right income the words are
'allocation from the fund'!!  :-(
