Given most composers do not own the copyright of their work[s].

Does a composer have a 'right' to data attached to the work?

Given the PRO of your choice only represents the 'copyright' 
owner...... how does a PRO represent 'you'?
This was also discussed months ago on this list without I believe a 
conclusion.

I ask these questions because investigations in the UK into 
non-featured performers rights have highlighted the fact musicians with 
a 'performers right' do not have any right to data since it belongs to 
the right[s] holder. e.g the record co.

This could be fun to watch as Sound Exchange etc kicks in in the USA 
and folks start to wonder where their money is !
