New York Based Music Supervisors, Music Editors and Composers...

Announcing an informal demonstration of www.spottingnotes.com, the
film music management system on .....

26th July 6:30 pm - Sound One, Brill Building, 1619 Broadway, 8th
Floor

www.spottingnotes.com is a secure on-line system to facilitate
communication between all the contributors to a film's music. The
system has been used on over 50 films and TV series since its launch
in 2005, including 2 of those nominated for best score at this years
Oscar. Hosting this meeting is British Music Editor Andy Glen who
helped to design the system.

www.spottingnotes.com is accessed through a regular internet
browser but by persons authorised by the subscribing production, so
it is very easy to use and requires no special software. At its core
is a set of spottingnotes maintained, typically, by the music editor
and/or anyone else authorised by the production to edit the notes.
From each cue are links to a individual inbox for each cue where
video or audio demos, midi or samples and comments may be stored and
viewed, as well as links to private areas for music supervisors and
composers featuring cost calculators and session planners. The
system was designed and is maintained by active music editors and it
has several real-world features which reflect the hectic pace of
change experienced on most productions and the need for fast reactions!

See www.spottingnotes.com for a full list of features.

Please let Andy know (please email him at info at spottingnotes.com)
if there is a possibility of you attending as Sound One have
requested a list of names be left with lobby security.
