If it is some consolation to you, Vic, you have the earned the respect 
and admiration of every film music composer deserving of the title.

I was but a wee lad when Dr. No hit the big screen.  9 years old, middle 
row center.  Years later, when other garage bands were jamming to "Smoke 
on the Water", the Bond Theme was part of my repertoire, along with 
titles by Morricone, Courage, Goldsmith, Schifrin, Nelson Riddle and 
others of the period...

It is inconceivable that someone of your stature is now flipping 
burgers.  Tell me it ain't so!

Speaking as someone who never quit his day job: Yes, I'll have fries 
with that burger.  And, uh, (this may sound tacky) could you possibly 
autograph one of those?
