[Fmpro] 1st Engineer

I will be recording my first live orchestral soundtrack in May and need help
finding a 1st Engineer. The recording studio that was decided upon (about 90
minutes outside New York) can provide a 2nd Eng., but I need to provide the
1st. Since this is my first time, I need someone with a good amount of
experience recording 40 - 60 players.

1) Have any of you worked with someone in the NY area that you would
recommend, or is there a society that would have a list of available
engineers? I contacted AFM out in New York, but so far haven't heard back
from them.

2) Is there anything you wish someone would've told you before going into
the studio and locking live instruments to picture for the first time?
