 Mark, you are certainly more talented in the diplomatic
 realm than I.  And again you are right.  There is in fact
 a deeper ideological question about collectivism etc.
 that can be discussed in the abstract, but what we
 are talking about here is not theoretical; we attempt
 to identify and address real problems that affect real
 people daily.  

 Policies are being formulated and enforced.  Any
 population subject to the consequences would do well
 to examine these things carefully.  And when
 something is amiss, step up and express your
 opinion.  This is particularly true in any ostensibly
 democratic process.  A lively discussion here can bring
 only good.
