 Let me see if I understand this right.  Your argument
 for sticking with the union is 1) the Federation doesn't
 know how to represent musicians, and 2) the RMALA
 doesn't care about anyone but themselves but the
 two organizations are all we have.

 Is it really inconceivable to get through life without a
 union teat to suck on.  Have we gone totally nuts?

 Unions and "progressives" etc. are supposed to care
 about workers, the little guy, the oppressed, the
 disadvantaged, etc. etc.  Yet we are marshalling all
 our resources to protect the interestsof the most
 privileged and affluent among us.

 And we persist in this idolatry, conceit and swooning
 about the "best in the world?"  Puleeez.
