 The more money I make, the more I can contribute to
 my IRA.  The idea that without a nanny-union I'd
 starve in my old age is ridiculous.  What is this morbid
 dependency?

 I 'll tell you a couple things that are obvious to me
 right now:

 1) LA production companies aren't all that impressed 
 with LA musicians anymore; the best musicians for
 them are the cheaper ones and the ones who will 
 accept buyouts.

 2) Musicians in Seattle, Prague, Bratislava and London
 are not stupid enough to price themselves out of the
 market calling themselves the best in the world.  They
 concentrate on DELIVERING product, big time.

 3) Fining production companies et al. is light killing the
 messenger because "the best in the world" don't like
 the message.

 4) It is time, gentlemen, to smell the coffee and move 
 on.
