Hi James,
Given that at least one ASCAP Board member allegedly did not understand
the ramifications of downloads........ how on earth can rank & file PRO
members have any faith in representation.
Bear in mind PHO is part owned by a Publisher.. and publishers [as per
the statement on Sunday Morning] have licensed Google/YOUTUBE........
so game over.
Why is this only being discussed in depth on PHO......... maybe I
should try to join again ;-).. I doubt they'll let me !!......... why
isn't there a report on proceedings from ASCAP/BMI/SESAC/PRS etc?
You say You underestimate these organizations pressing need to be
compensated
> for anything and everything. <
So, what have they done?
You also say >You're questions are good ones, but presented to the
wrong people as far as
> getting anything done in this area.
Who does one ask?
