[Fmpro] Digital Time machine

They have value as an income source to a station, not an expense.  The
company line is they add nothing to the entertainment value of the station.
If anything they detract.  Now don't jump all over me here.  I do
commercials too, but I must confess, the more there are the more I tend to
channel surf to avoid the annoyance.  When I tape something, I fast forward
right through them.  I believe that's what they are referring to when they
say commercials have no value as far as negotiations for the blanket
licenses.
