[Fmpro] okay here's a production question: Miroslav vs. Vienna

Hi,

I've got the Miroslav Phiharmonik plug-in and just bought the Vienna
Special Edition plug-in. Both are essentially full orchestra virtual
instruments, though the Vienna package is more basic.

I've done strings with both. Miroslav is kind of set up already with
the panning and ambience, which is convenient for my needs, and I
think they sound great. My first attempt with the Vienna Special
Edition using a similar formula in my arranging and mixing was a bit
disappointing, and I think it comes down to my lack of knowing how
the get a more realistic setting with ambience and then overall
reverb. I'm using the Altiverb convolution reverb plug-in. I was
specifically trying to get a warm, lush sound using long, sustained
parts. Is that enough info?

Any thoughts?

Todd
