Hi Pete,
Please be assured there was no 'attack' intended in my post. Your
voice, opinion and input are very much respected. It matters little how
many library pieces you, Les or I may have out there if those pieces
are not surveyed, or small value arbitrarily placed upon them by a body
of our peers. From commission, be it from publisher of production
company, to royalties, be they performance or mechanical, composers
have ever decreasing control over their product. United we stand and
parted we fall. At the moment we are shouting at each other from
mountain tops, each one of us separated from the other by our desire to
work. We are getting closer, thanks to the presence of the FMPRO Digest
and other forums, but not yet close enough.
Keep up the good work.
Vic

I'm not sure where that attack is coming from. But,
for the record, I have just over 500 library pieces
floating around out there. Some of it makes it's way
to UK TV. I'm sure you and Les have more than that,
but I think it's enough to entitle me to a voice in
the matter.
Best,
