This is a question that Doug Wood should know the answer to.  I have 
just learned that PRS not only take 15% for administration expenses but 
deduct a further 20% from the gross income for a contingency fund - a 
fund set up in case there have been mistakes made in the distribution.  
The fund is then distributed according to the recent pay out.

Does ASCAP do the same thing and, if so, what are the percentages and 
how is the money distributed?
