With respect to one and all regarding what should be paid what on TV.

As long as there are Board members on the ASCAP Board who feel  
certain music is worth more than any other, then 'composers' are  
doomed to pay cuts.
So far, not one ASCAP Board member is of the opinion 'music is music'.

I seem to recall a very forward thinking CEO from way back..........  
'Messinger' seems to ring a bell.
She got it, she wore badges with music is music printed on it... she  
got fired !

Who really is in control?

Certainly not our writer board members.

Weightings are not our biggest problem.......... the problem now is  
how to get paid for ALL downloads, period.

What happens when broadcasting is no longer a transmission, but are  
declared a 'transfer of data' ?  A MECHANICAL.
