I think Les is correct on this one. It's happening now. Just look at itunes, then look at netflix...downloaded movies...downloaded TV shows to your phone. I've got a number of films that are DVD release only and a few are available on Netflix. No royalty for me. I've got an Internet TV series I did last year. Download only distribution. No royalty for me. Whose composing contract says that they can collect mecahnicals for global downloads of the movie or TV show one composes?  Who collects for mechanicals in the US (or the rest of the world) for these mechanicals? 

I'm looking for language to add to my contracts now. Any suggestions? Does Harry Fox collect for itunes downloads of songs...TV shows...movies?
