[Fmpro] Rapid Cue

Certainly a step in the right direction.

I'm reminded by ASCAP's admission some years ago that, "It would be
impractical to notify members every time we change a cue sheet in our
system"

Too bad they didn't design RapidCue as a 2-way street - so a member could
get copies electronically of every cue sheet that has their name on it.
Given the myriad of things that can go wrong with cue sheets getting to
ASCAP and getting entered correctly, this kind of cue sheet audit should be
done by every composer at least once every few years.

I also wonder if ASCAP bothered to have any sort of a "I attest that the
information contained in the cue sheets I submit is correct" type of terms
and accompanying legal responsibility so that cue sheets can finally have a
legal source and author... Might cut down on all the cue sheet fraud that's
going on where executives claim to be "writers" and ASCAP happily writes out
checks to them...

Best,

Mark Northam
