[Fmpro] Rapid Cue

No sweat. But how do you enact wide-ranging rules that measure the
"effectiveness" of music? To me, it's patently unfair to label every song a
feature performance simply because it has lyrics - it's an obvious money
grab by the lyricists and songwriters, and short-changes a ton of
"effective" score music.

If you song has lyrics, it should have been paid automatically as a feature
as long as you indicated it as "BV" (Background Vocal) on the cue sheet. If
it's not, I would complain immediately to the Songwriter High Command at
ASCAP as that's the rule... All BVs are paid by default as features unless
an audit of the performance determines that it's non-featured.

Best,

Mark Northam
