$8.00 isn't bad (isn't great) for one share of a
blanket license, but for a sync/master license of one
instrumental, that's ridiculous.

If $8.00 is the average for a sync/master fee, I'd go
with keeping the Publishing/Writers share of the
performance royalties (as in the deal with the FMN
jobwire ad). OK, so sometimes you'll get nothing, but
most of the times you'll get more than $8.00.

Mark, maybe that would be a good sidebar to your
Library Directory. If you're going to get a portion of
the sync/master fee, it'd be good to know, "What's the
average sync and master fee going for these days?"
