Hey Chris,
I wouldn't do that if I were you, at least not the Vista part.  I  
bought a new iMac 24" that came with Parallels Desktop and Vista.   
Vista was such a pain, memory hog, slow, kludgy, locking up, crashing,  
I've backgraded to XP and all is working smoothly now.  That was also  
what the folks at both Apple and Parallels recommended.  It may be  
different on a very high end PC, can't say as I don't have one, but on  
the Parallels Mac, it's a no go.  I don't know that my experience is  
universal, but I have yet to talk to anybody who is singing the  
praises of Vista besides Bill Gates and Steve Balmer.  XP is rock  
solid, at least with Service Pack 2, light on the hardware and runs  
everything made for Windows pretty smoothly by now.  Vista is truly a  
work in progress.  It may be great someday, but I found it gorgeous to  
look at and a total pain.....hmmm, it's got a lot in common with my ex- 
girlfirend!
