Hi Louis,
With all due respect to the incredible team at Vienna......this one  
came out of the chute a little early.  Several of us jumped on it when  
it first came out.  I was in the middle of a documentary and thought  
it would fun to put the horns in one VE and the strings in another.   
What we all (including the Vienna team) discovered to our mutual  
dismay was that if you insert two instances of VE with Logic 8, your  
logic composition will not reopen after being closed.   Several of us  
totally flipped because we had real projects with real deadlines  
trapped by this unfortunate HUMONGOUS insect.  One bright lad to whom  
we are all eternally grateful, figured out if you just take the VE  
component out of the components folder, Logic would then happily open  
the file telling you the instrument Vienna Ensemble does not exist.   
With that, you clear the insert, then you can just add tracks for the  
individual strings and horns using the Vienna Instruments you had  
stuffed in the VE  and you're back in business.

That's the long answer to the short question.  Please wait on this  
one.  It will be amazing a few lines of code from now.  At the moment  
it is a dangerous work in progress.   By the way, I'm not sure how it  
would work with one instance, and I'm not interested in finding out.   
I'll wait till somebody blows the all clear whistle.
