[Fmpro] What is the diff Cubase vs Nuendo?

What is the difference of Cubase and Nuendo? When I (foolishly) upgraded my
setup last time I went PC for the first time ever and went with Cubase SX3,
now upgraded to Cubase 4. Cubase is in the normal Pro-Audio range pricewise
at 799.00 I think and while I never have forgiven myself to give up on mac
and digital performer and plan to go back at the next opportune time, Cubase
is pretty darn cool, and after all Hans Zimmer uses is so hey i went that
route... Now I always thought of Nuendo as video non linear editing suite
(like Avid or FCP or DV Edit or something) but looking at the ads for it, it
seems to boast the same stuff as Cubase essentially... but its priced at
like 10,000 dollars more? What is the deal? Anyone use Nuendo here?
