Hi Claude,

You ferners are so durn smart ;-)

No matter which PRO, from a business POV, whomever is The President  
is responsible when you are not paid because with a simple stroke of  
a pen, rules could be changed and payment for all music on air could  
be achieved......... who wouldn't want that?

However, you are 100% correct, it is the composers who are ultimately  
responsible for the terrible situation which befalls them.

I have been wondering for decades, why do composers put up with such  
a terrible attitude toward their talents?
