I was being just a little cynical !
Given songwriters have made every effort, it would
appear, to insure 'score' only receives 20c per min
compared to songs' $1.... it was ironic to have a
major composer 'embraced' by using one of his pieces
[of 30 years ago, I'm told] which would have been
earning 20c turned into a song........
So if the 'score' is good enough now to be a song,
does this mean it was always 'quality' ??
Will the instrumental version now earn $1 given it is
now 'a song'?
The 'play' last night was very interesting politics.
