[Fmpro] Bad composers/arrangers

Speaking of conductors jabbing themselves with the baton, and composers
shooting themselves in the foot... Jean Baptiste Lully (French baroque
composer), was conducting with a very large baton (more of a staff that
he pounded the tempo on the floor with), when he got carried away and
smashed his foot with it. He got gangrene in the wound and eventually
died from it.
Lully's one of the minor characters in the film 'All the Mornings of the
World' - there's a cool scene with him conducting with the staff-baton
thing. (No foot smashing though).
