If this is true, Koopa is becoming a modern day Hero/Dragon-Slayer, and
I fight for their right to par-tay! They certainly have the marketing
down. I'm not 16 years old, and don't own a cell phone, but I'd like
to meet PR tailor.
Not to rain on anyones parade, but one-hit wonders are common in the
music biz. Little Richard (NOT a one-hit wonder!) is one example of a
ground breaker who was historically neglected by the general listening
public, and eclipsed by other more popular (i.e. White) artists du jour
who followed in his footsteps. Fortunately, Richard is being
recognized more and more these days, with his appearance in movies, and
that cool Gecko advert !-)
Desmond Dekker did it in the late sixties for Ska, and by association,
Reggae. Kids now can identify with Ozzie and Eric Clapton, but how many
of them can recite the words to "The Isrealites"?

I'd like to jump ahead one year, to see if Koopa is still around...but
whatever happens, the invisible stone wall to online success for
Independent artists may have been breached. If true, many Indie artists
are sure to follow. As far as the PRO's ability to track that success,
we can hide and watch or become PRO-active.
