Hi,
I have to say I agree Joel on this one. I just joined the Film Music Network
for the primary purpose of having access to the job board. If I now have to
pay $1.99 per piece of music I submit, in addition to the $139 I have
already paid, it hardly seems worth the price. I'm not very happy about the
fact that people who haven't paid for membership can respond to these
postings even if it costs them $5.99 per track. The fact is that there
aren't that many job postings that I am actually interested in so it
currently looks like with the new system my membership costs me more than if
I had just saved my $139 and submitted in this fashion.
I already have a website and simple way for potential clients to listen to
submission materials. If you are going to offer SubmitDIRECT, I think that
it should be an additional option not the only choice.
Best,
Fletcher
