Hi, Doug,
A few weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to ASCAP concerning the fact that two of my songs were performed on PAX TV in Nashville in the summer of 2006.
I asked if PAX sent the cue sheets to ASCAP. When I mentioned to my attorney that two songs were performed, he said that I should be receiving payment for them. ASCAP never replied.
What do I do next in order to receive payment for the song performances?
Thanks,
Patricia Reynolds

Hi friends,
The election for the Board of Directors of ASCAP is currently under way. On
Thursday afternoon, February 1, I will host a conference call for ASCAP
writers to answer your questions and discuss various issues regarding
performing rights.
Any ASCAP voting member who is interested in participating in the call
should send an email with the subject "Conference Call" to me or call my
office at (516) 883-0121. Details of the call will be sent to you.
I encourage you to visit my website www.DougWoodforASCAP.com to learn more
about my position on some of the major issues. And of course you are welcome
to write or call me directly with questions or concerns.
I look forward to speaking with you. Thank you for your support.
Doug Wood
