Maybe the real logic here audio is simple.
'Radio' will be streamed, but ALL audio visual product
will be a download...... this ofcourse meaning 'song'
video's etc & tv/film.
In this manner record co's and publishers will be able
to 'market' product via drive time etc, but pechance
the bulk of new 'audio' beng the pop video etc etc
will mean ALL of the money going to the rights owners
as a mech.
FOLKS......... PLEASE... even if my logic is 100%
off......... don't give up your mechanicals..... it is
almost certain [IMHO] the mech will be the only right
available in years to come.
What we all need to do is retain a share of the
copyright !!!!
