Agreed. 

BMI has always been 100% professional, even when we've had our issues with
them. ASCAP very quickly made it "personal" and from the start acted quite
rudely when even the most basic questions were asked - and this was long
before Film Music Magazine and the articles we've published discussing some
of their more controversial business practices.

With ASCAP, when you asked about how they operated their royalty system, it
was almost as if you were insulting them personally, and they responded as
such.
