Too bad Shawn chooses not to participate in the list - I guess he just wants
to keep an eye on the posts (and who's posting, perhaps)...

Some basic data about how ASCAP works (no, it's not on the website!) in some
of the more controversial areas would do wonders in terms of educating
composers and clearing up some of the many unanswered questions posed and
debated here on this list. That is, of course, if educating composers is
something ASCAP and Shawn believe is a good thing...
