[Fmpro] PRO's... Mr L has left the list

Sadly it isn't just US PRO's anymore.

PRS staff have refused to provide any data on the distribution  
changes introduced this month which will pay 75% of the Non Prime  
Time [NPT] ** music on air @ 50% of the 'value' of 'the rate', but  
pay Prime Time [PT] @ 200%.

All the Board will say is the reduction in pay is to benefit all  
members.

I'm not very smart, can anyone tell me how this is going to work for  
those getting less money?

Here's one piece of 'evidence' which came out of the  
questioning....... with no visual proof to me........  on average  
ONLY 1600 of PRS' members are paid each quarter.
The UK 'composersforafairdeal' list promoted 600 signatures to  
rescind the change........  made no difference !!

How many BMI composers are paid each quarter... anyone care to guess?
