That is what they are pushing for.  It's because they have 3 composing rooms
that are going unused, and they know they can really screw over composers
and get 'em very cheap by making them come in.

Chris -- I have heard that Scripps is no longer even using "independent"
composers for their custom work.  All such work now requires the composer to
come on site, compose/produce the music using Scripps' facilities, and the
composer is paid HOURLY for his work -- no more per-project fees.

Can you verify?
