Hi Chris,
I'll lump your 2 emails together.
I DID NOT say we must leave the PRO's.
The ideas behind them are good, it is management and the boards which
are out of whack... but for whom?
PLEASE look at your 2nd post.................. > Isn't the general
idea that for broadcasting
fees, a classical jazz or instrumental station wont pay the same
monthly nut
a top 40 or rock or R&B station would since they cant attract the
same grade
of advertisers?<
For this discussion, it doesn't matter what the broadcaster pays...
it is how the PRO's then manipulate the 1-1 income to suit the
members they wish to favour the most.
It's a club dude........... did you not see Sunday Morning this last
w/e?
NOTE......... PRS just changed the rules, they kept 1-1, but NOT
24/7.......... guess who will get paid the most....... even though
they admit the broadcaster pays 1-1 24/7.
NOPE, it's us idiots who allow the corruption to continue.
RICO question.
If a statement is sent via email and royalties paid via direct
deposit......... is there any mail fraud?
