Good point. And I hope any of you who call him will share his answers with
the list. That is, unless he says he doesn't want you to....

There can and should be a lively public discourse on this subject, as it
serves both and educational and informational needs. If Doug feels he can't
answer these questions publicly, that is of course his choice and perhaps we
should be glad he takes the time to send us an occasional email here on the
FMPRO list, even if it has that "drive-by" feeling to it...

In the meantime, perhaps we can work together to get answers to so many of
the questions we have about how and why things are the way they are at
ASCAP. And perhaps once we better understand that, we can formulate a
solution that makes sense and collectively try and get things done in a
grass-roots manner.

Hope to see some of you at the Composer Expo tomorrow!
