I run Giga 2, MachFive and the NI stuff (Kontakt, Kompakt, Kontrakt,  
KonKrete, KonKave, etc.) Giga 2 runs like a champ- I will not upgrade  
unless forced to. MachFive is great though there aspects to the  
interface I'm not crazy about- never had a crash. And the NI stuff,  
despite an overabundance of vaguely fascist looking "K"s in their  
titles, is rock solid. I recommend all of the above.
