You may all recall a note from the composers org in the UK.
I sent the note to PRS board members so they might be aware.
The following from my old buddy Guy Fletcher, a current Board member.
We wish him all the best and look forward in hope to him
being named as the only board member who actually cares
about composers' needs at the AGM which takes place on
Thursday 28 June at the PRS offices in Berners Street,
London.
I have never met Mr Harpham and he may well be an excellent candidate
for the PRS board, however, he has not been a party to any of the
discussions held on this subject by the board or the committee
concerned.
The above sentence is deeply insulting to all the good people who
are trying their best to do an even handed job for composers in the
UK. I take the greatest possible exception to it . Hopefully it will
do your ill informed “campaign” a great deal of harm….. This kind of
unsigned poppycock takes no account of the endless hours of debate
spent by people with unimpeachable motives who do care deeply about
the future of music creators of all genres.
Please pass this on to all your friends and do not contact me again
Guy Fletcher

How is anything other than 1-1 even handed?
Why would he think it to be 'my' campaign?
Seems the nerve has been touched.
As he says...... PLEASE, pass his note along.
Les
