[Fmpro] A composer going loopy

Now that is just a pouty and petulant response my good fellow ;)
"Ascap treats us like dirt so we should devaluate our music with cheap
tricks"

My art is my work is my art is my work. I hope that I can maintain it. I
hope that no matter how busy I get I never let my music suffer. I hope that
there is enough goodness in the world to accept me even if I don't do the
quick and dirty way that beancounters like. I hope.

Bottom line..........

When the org which represents us.. ASCAP/BMI/SESAC etc........
insists our music is not as good/valuable/same quality etc etc as a
song....... which most today do use loops etc........ why the
discussion?

Art for arts sake, yes........... work as pro............ just work.

Best
