Ah C'mon Pete!

It's just good business for ASCAP to disclose this.  There is  
virtually no cost associated with disclosing this amount.  ASCAP  
knows the amount already, they just choose not to reveal it to you.   
Every legitimate service organization that handles money for a client  
tracks every process and details the cost in a statement to that  
client.  By not disclosing gross amount, exchange rates, admin fees  
in detail, ASCAP promotes distrust.  You must ask yourself why they  
do not disclose information which pertains to your account.  It  
should make you nervous.
