Did anyone else wonder where Lynne Conte got her data when she posted information on Sayco (Columbia's PRO) on around May 12, 2007? I reposted my original question to her below, as well as an excerpt from her original post (at the bottom). She states in her post, "All numbers are fake", but given her history of copying stuff
from other discussion lists (and, of course, Winkepedia) and repasting on this discussion list, one could imagine these numbers came from somewhere out there. Her
reply to my below questions was non-constructive and mentioned something about being in a hostile conversation, so no direct answers exist. I tried several Yahoo searches using different combinations of her posted data, but results were nil.

andrew feazelle's original question to Lynne in May of 07:

Hey Lynne,

Are those figures notated as "US 100, US 20, etc..." percentages, where US 100 equals 100%, which would be the initial gross royalty figure? Further, you
note that the quoted numbers are fake. Again, does that mean they only represent percentages, and are proportionately correct? If so, i think your post is something
relavent to a subject that has been discussed on the list in the past. The subject i'm referring to being: How much does ASCAP shave off when they collect from
foreign PRO's?

Also, I had a question about the last example* listed as, "If you had signed with your local PRO's then you only have a direct figure
like : (see Lynnes original post for figures)". The "local PRO" you refer to is Sayco? And also the last example is and example of
a writer who belongs to Sayco, but not ASCAP. They only belong to Sayco. Am i following that correctly? If so, i think the last three
lines would then be:

Sayco Receives US 100
Tax REserve US 15
Total Paid to WRITER US 85

Therefore, it is better for this particular writer to only belong to Sayco (as long as her song isn't playing in any other area other than Sayco's) and not to belong to
ASCAP.

Would you be interested in talking further on your post? I think some of us would like to know more about it, especially regarding the origin of your data. Also,
do you know (or does anybody know) more details on the Tax REserve and the Tax Withholding Col.? The Truth Is Out There -- maybe? Welp, i'll be gone for
the next four days, but will be back to read further posts after that.

Thanks,

A Fez
