I have the cut down Garritan version that comes with Finale .. i have 
an iMac OSX with 1Gb RAM ,and that STILL isn't enough to effectively 
use it .That ( and the Kontakt player ) are giant memory hogs! I have a 
friend that has a G4 with 5 gb RAM, and even he has trouble using it!

Fortunately , all the writing I do is for live players, so the internal 
soundfont for demos works just fine ..
