  Les, as you can tell from my recent rant/posts, I'm more than just a 
little disappointed with ASCAP, and PROs in general.  I received no 
checks this year, or last; not even a ballot!  Good thing I didn't quit 
my day job!

  I have music out there; the full-length feature "El Reporte" -- 
soundtrack by Billy Hale and myself --  has been in every Blockbuster 
Video in Puerto Rico since last July.  Billy has already released ASCAP 
("fired their asses!"), and joined BMI.  I should certainly do the same.

  Maybe when the latest CD from Billy Hale Music, "Tales Thrice 
Travelled" (yes, with two Ls), is distributed later this year, things 
will pick up.

  On a lighter note, I sent Billy Hale a link to Composer's Forum.  All 
he had to comment was: "Nice reading, but I'm starting to miss Les 
Hurdle."  ;-)
