Mark,
I've been using RapidCue for the last several months, but I've never
considered myself elite, just busy. I'm a BMI writer and they were very willing and
helpful in getting me up and running in RapidCue. It's a major step forward over
filling paper cue sheets, especially if your writing weekly shows with
recurring cues. Rapid cue calls the writer/publisher splits as a total 200% with
each side splitting 100% as it's always been. As I went through this drill with
an ASCAP collaborator who asked me these same questions, the answer, ASCAP's
100% split applies only when registering songs with them, not cue sheets. I have
no idea when Rapid Cue will be available to everyone but most probably after
they work out some very minor bugs as it is in beta at this moment with
ongoing user meetings on how to improve the system. I hope this info helps the
group.
Best
