[Fmpro] The role of managers re: royalties?

Les,
I spoke with a Greg over at ASCAP. The first step, a composer/artist/band
has to do is give written permission to the Performing Rights Organization
to release information on their work to a manager/representative. Second,
an issue that happens is making sure the composer/artist/band Registers
their Titles correctly. Third, make sure all paper work is done correctly
and to read your statements thoroughly. If a composer/artist/band sees
something out of place either they can call themselves to resolve the issue
or have their manager/representative call to discuss the manner.
